MALLORCAN OLIVE OIL
In the heart of Mallorca, in the municipality of Marratxí, is the family estate Son Caulelles, a place linked to the land, oil and tradition for more than a century.
Since 1881, the estate has remained in the hands of the Romaguera family, passing from generation to generation and always preserving the same respect for the countryside, nature and the Mediterranean essence that defines this corner of the island.
Today, a new generation takes over with the will to continue caring for this family legacy and take it to a new stage, combining tradition and a more contemporary vision. Keeping the essence of the estate intact, a renewed way of sharing everything that is part of Son Caulelles is born: the oil, the land, the calm and the Mediterranean lifestyle.
OUR ESTATE
The olive grove currently occupies 4 hectares, where our olive trees are between 15 and 20 years old. These trees, in full productive maturity, offer an olive of excellent quality, fundamental base for the elaboration of the appreciated extra virgin olive oil Oli Son Caulelles.
The old orchard of the estate, where the mill and the stables that once supplied water to the fields were located, has evolved over time. This historical space was transformed into a tourist complex that today houses the agritourism S'hort de Son Caulelles, integrating agricultural tradition and rural hospitality in an authentic environment. However, the current generation of the Romaguera family has never abandoned the work in the fields, keeping alive the lands from which today the renowned Oli Son Caulelles is extracted.
OIL PRODUCTION
The elaboration of the oil is based on environmentally friendly practices, prioritizing sustainable cultivation methods that preserve the natural balance of the environment. This commitment to the land not only guarantees the quality of the extra virgin olive oil, but also ensures the continuity of an agricultural legacy that is part of Mallorca's living heritage.
The result is an oil that not only represents a gastronomic product of excellence, but also the history, effort and dedication of a family that, since 1881, continues to proudly cultivate their land in Marratxí.
